We Need Your Help!
All of you know that what you bring to the Playa you take when you leave the Playa. We know not to leaves our drinks, cigs, or anything else that is ours lying around. But, there’s more you can do. This year we have a record number of Puffy Yellow campers, so we’ve created this sign-up page so we can stay on top of the daily camp chores. If everybody chips in, we’ll all have more time to get lost in the moment of Burningman. Please sign up and do your part. Here’s how you can help.
Be responsible and take your duties seriously!
Camp Coffee Muse - Responsibilities include: Make coffee, manage coffee supply and additives (Milk, Sugar or maybe Baileys) and coffee station cleanup. Don’t rely on supplies being there, you must bring your supplies for your shift. Coffee served AM only!
Dish Washing Station - Responsibilities include: Manage a 3-bucket washing station, supply dish washing supplies (scrub brush, bio-friendly soap, clean water) and clean station gray water at end of shift. Each shift is for one day. THIS PERSON IS NOT THE DISHWASHER! If you cook, you clean. You cannot leave any dishes in dish area! Anyone that cooks and does not clean their mess, or leaves dishes in the dish area will be brutally insulted and banned from earth.
Moop Duty - Responsibilities include: Patrolling entire camp area and picking up all trash large and small (three times a day), securing full garbage bags to trash storage area, replacing public trash bags in main camp if needed. Don’t rely on others to bring trash bags or gloves. Bring what you need to do your job.
